硫系光纤的色散测量
Dispersion Measurement of As2S3 Fiber
摘要
利用相移测量了单模As2S3光纤在1.55 μm附近的色散.测量结果显示,As2S3光纤的材料色散为-39 ps/(km*nm).特殊的色散特性,预示了硫系光纤及其器件广阔的应用前景.
Abstract
The dispersion characteristic of chalcogenide fiber is studied. By using phase shift method the dispersion characteristic of single mode As 2S 3 fiber around 1.55 μm is measured. The measurement result shows the strong dispersion being about -39 ps/(km·nm) at communication wavelength of 1.55 μm. Chalcogenide fibers have promising market as a dispersion compensation device with such good performance.
