飞秒强激光作用下微毛细管等离子体X射线辐射特性
X-ray Emission Properties of Micro-capillary Plasma Irradiated with Femtosecond Intense Laser
摘要
进行了超短强激光脉冲与玻璃微毛细管相互作用的探索性研究。对不同能量下,不同长度的玻璃毛细管的X射线谱进行了测量、分析。结果表明由于微毛细管的光导作用,随着微毛细管长度的增加,X射线的强度显著增强。利用复合辐射吸收边测量了作用过程中毛细管等离子体温度,表明随着激光能量增加电子温度升高。
Abstract
A novel experiment has been carried out for studying the interaction between ultra short intense laser pulses and glass micro capillary. The X ray emissions from variety capillary lengths and in different laser energy have been measured and analyzed. Experimental results show that owing to the light guide of capillary, the intensity of X-xay emission is increased intensively when the capillary length is longered. The plasma temperature is estimated by the recombination edge method and found that the temperature is increased with the increasing of the laser pulse energy.
