基于小波变换的图像融合方法
Image fusion algorithm based on wavelet transform
摘要
提出了一种基于小波变换的改进图像融合方法.对小波分解后的高频分量使用图像区域内像素的最大绝对值作为该区域中心像素的活性测度以得到融合图像的高频分量,对分解后的低频分量通过度量其图像块的质量来确定融合图像的低频分量.实验结果表明,该方法得到的融合图像清晰度和对比度都较好,是一种有效的图像融合算法.
Abstract
An improved image fusion algorithm based on wavelet transform is presented. The image is decomposed into high-frequency image and low-frequency image.The maximum absolute value within the window of high-frequency image is used as an activity measure associated with the center pixel to get the fused high-frequency image. The quality of the blocks within the low-frequency image is measured to determine the fused low-frequency image. The experimental result shows that clarity and contrast of the fused image are improved. The proposed algorithm is verified effective for image fusion.
