固体激光器中的热管理

摘要
泵浦源向固体激光介质提供产生激光所需能量的同时,在介质中造成无用热.为了持续工作,必须及时从激光介质中消除这些无用热(散热),于是形成"热效应".这种热效应造成两个恶果:应力导致工作介质破坏,从而限制了激光器的输出平均功率;畸变导致激光光束质量下降,使输出激光的亮度降低.概述克服固体激光器热效应所做的工作、取得的进展以及今后可能的技术途径.
Abstract
The waste heat deposits into the gain medium when energy is made by optical pumping to laser. Removing this waste heat for steady state operation creates " heat effect ". The heat effect leads to degrade beam quality, reduces laser power, and possibly fractures the solid-state medium. The paper outlines the principal work, the developments and the techniques to avoid the heat effect.
