高增益掺铒光纤的设计和制备研究
Design and Research of High Gain Erbium-Doped Optical Fiber
摘要
掺铒光纤放大器在光通信中有着广泛的应用.根据掺铒光纤的性能要求设计了合理的折射率剖面图,制备了高增益的掺铒光纤,在1530nm的吸收达到22dBm,在980nm泵浦光的吸收达到12dBm.其平坦增益带宽范围为1490~1560hm.
Abstract
Erbium-doped fiber amplifier has been widely applied in optical communication. In this paper, reasonable refractive index profiles are designed according to applying request. High gain EDF is fabricated. Absorption coefficient of EDF is 22 dB/m and 12 dB/m at1530nm and 980nm respectively.
