摘要
介绍了用快速电光偏转器实现激光脉冲剂波的原理.用该方法可以轻易获得很大范围以内所需任意宽度的激光脉冲。理论上讨论了激光焦斑、调制小孔大小、扫描速度和激光脉冲宽度的关系;并在实验上用φ0.36的小孔从20 ns的调Q激光脉冲削波,获得了前沿140 ps.脉冲宽度为280 ps的窄脉冲。
Abstract
This paper introduces the principles of pulse chopping with fast-response electrooptic deflectors. Laser pulses with a wide range of desirable pulse-width can be obtainedeasily using this method. Dependence of pulse-width upon light beam focus spot, size ofchopping hole and scan velocity is discussed theoretically.Chopped from a Q- switch singlelongitudinal mode pulse with 20 ns pulse-width by using a φ0. 36 chopping hole, a short lightPulse with a pulse-width 280 ps and rise-edge 140 ps is realized experimentally.
