头跟踪式全分辨率多用户自由立体显示装置

摘要
阐述了一种无分辨率损失的多用户自由立体显示装置。本装置包含指向背光模块、人眼跟踪装置和控制接口模块, 基于时分原理, 可使刷新率为120Hz的普通平面LCD提供立体视觉效果。其所采用的新型指向性背光结构, 在实时、精确的人眼跟踪装置的控制下, 可在观察者左右眼处分时形成随动的对应观察窗口, 让观察者左眼只看到左图像右眼只看到右图像, 从而实现自由立体显示。并且, 本装置显示的立体图像无分辨率损失, 只需一对视差图像, 便可满足多人同时观看。
Abstract
A multi-user autostereoscopic displayer without resolution loss is described in this article. This device is composed of three modules including the directional backlight, eye-tracking system and the controler. It can provide 3D visual effect with a common LCD screen based on the principle of time-multiplexing. The directional backlight under the control of the eye-tracking system can produce the right and left viewing windows for the observers time-sequentially, so that the viewer's left eye can only see the left image while the right eye can only see the right image, and then 3D visual effect is thus achieved. Furthermore, 3D viewing without resolution loss is also provided by the device with only a pair of parallax images for multiple viewers to share.
