LD泵浦Nd:BGO晶体的自调Q激光器
Self Q-Switched Nd:BGO Laser Pumped by Laser Diode
摘要
首次实现了LD泵浦Nd:BGO固体激光器的1.064 μm的激光输出,泵浦阈值功率为25 mW,在连续运转状态下得到最大为40 mW的TEM00模输出,光-光效率为13.3%.根据法拉第磁光效应理论,计算了LD泵浦Nd:BGO自调Q激光器的各种参数,并研制成该激光器,在该器件中,作为损耗调制元件的磁光调制器就是绕有线圈的Nd:BGO晶体本身.实验在重复率为1 kHz的条件下得到了FWHM为100 ns的稳定脉冲.
Abstract
Nd: BGO is a promising laser crystal as well as a useful magneto-optic medium. A diode laser pumped Nd: BGO laser at 1. 04 μm has been succeeded for the first time. CW output power of 40 mW with TEM00 mode and efficiency of 13. 3% have been obtained. The pumping threshold is 25 mW. Using the faraday rotational effect, we calculated the parameters of the diode laser pumped self Q-switched Nd:BGO laser. In which the magneto-optic modulator consists of the Nd:BGO crystal itself and a Brewster glass plate. Pulsed energy of 2 μJ with width of 100 ns has been detected at a repetition rate of 1 kHz.
