Abstract
Efficient intracavity frequency doubling with β-BaB2O4 (BBO) crystal in passively mode-locked Nd: YAP laser has been demonstrated by using unstable con focal resonator and convex-antiresonant ring(ARR) unstable resonator. The energy conversion efficiencies are 81% and 70%, pulse durations are 18 and 8 ps, and maximum energy fluctuation are 8.3% and 3.3% at 0.54 μm, respectively. A powerful single ps pulse with energy 20, 35 mJ in the green was obtained without any amplification and single Pulse selection.
