摘要
Abstract
Based on the digital umbra shading and shadowing algorithm in mathematiCal morphology,a new approach for realizing optical morphological dilation of one dimension(1-D) gray images is reported.The mathematical expression for the parallel processing of morphological dilation of 1-D gray image is introduced.The advantages of this scheme is simple in structure,high resolution in gray level, and good in parallelism. It can raise the speed of performing morphological dilation of gray images greatly and obtain more accurate results.
