Abstract
Near-field optical tweezers is a new technique in the near-field optics, and draws broad attentio-ns for trapping and manipulating nano-scale particles directly. Basic principles of near-field optical tweezers are introduced. Potential application prospect of this technique in different fields and its research progress are introduced.
