The reverse saturable absorption and optical limiting effects in buckminsterfullerene
摘要
报道了对足球烯分子纯C60及纯C70的光限制效应的研究结果,讨论了样品的浓度及三重态寿命对光限制阈值的影响.首次报道在足球稀分子中发现的三重态吸收饱和现象,并阐述了其产生的原因及对光限制效应的影响.
Abstract
The reverse saturable absorption and optical limiting effect in pure fullerene molecules C60and C70are reported. The discussions on the influences of concentrations and life-time of triplet states upon the critical energy fluence of optical limiting are given. The absorption induced by the transitions of triplet states of fullerene molecules exhibits a saturable process which is demonstrated for the first time to our knowledge. This phenomenon is reported and its influence on optical limiting is discussed.
