波片法对Nd:YVO41064 nm谱线增益的控制

摘要
Nd:YVO4是一种重要的激光晶体,广泛的应用到各种激光器中,本论文着重阐述不同的偏振光对应Nd:YVO4的受激发射截面不同从而导致该谱线的增益不同,并从实验上给出了定量的结果,实验表明对于a-cut的Nd:YVO4当偏振态由π到σ变化时,受激截面由21.5×1019 cm2变化到14.3×1019 cm2,对应的激光输出功率也由4.1 W变化到1.7 W。利用此原理提出了一种全新的弱增益谱线与强增益谱线的和频方法,并利用此方法实现了593.5 nm激光的运转。
Abstract
Nd:YVO4 is an important laser crystal which is utilized in many fields.In this paper the stimulation cross and gain coefficient of Nd:YVO4 is different along with the incident light with different polarization state is discussed,the result is given from the experiment,that is stimulation cross changes from 21.5×1019 cm2 to 14.3×1019 cm2 when the polarization state of incidence laser changes from π to σ,the output power also changes from 4.1 W to 1.7 W.By using this principle a new frequency-mixing method is suggested for weakness gain spectral line mixing frequency with strong gain one,593.5 nm yellow laser is achieved by using this idea.
