摘要
采用流体体积法(VOF)对于高雷诺数竖壁降膜流场进行了数值模拟,分析了降水膜速度分布、温度分布、波速及平均水膜厚度等特性参数的变化规律。计算结果表明,随着流动向下游发展,平均水膜厚度先是迅速减小,然后减小速度趋缓,最后趋于一恒定值;当初始水膜厚度一定时,随着初始雷诺数的增大,平均水膜厚度逐渐增大,水膜波动的振幅逐渐减小,但水膜稳定性变差。采用VOF方法的模拟结果与高速摄影实验数据符合良好,说明VOF 方法准确描述了绝大部分液膜流动特性,在总体上对于高雷诺数竖壁降膜流场进行了准确的预测。
Abstract
The flow field of falling water film down a vertical plate at high Reynolds number is simulated using volume of fluid (VOF) method computationally. The variation laws of some important characteristic parameters such as velocity distribution, temperature distribution, wave velocity and average thickness of water film are analyzed. The computational results indicate that average thickness of water film decreases first quickly, then slowly and finally trends to be a constant with the flow developing downstream. For a given initial thickness of water film, average thickness of water film increases gradually, but the amplitude of waves decreases gradually and the stability of water film becomes worse at the same time with initial Reynolds number increasing. The VOF-computed results are compared to High Speed Photography (HSP) measurements. The result comparisons indicates that the VOF method accurately captures most of the flow characteristics and gives a better general prediction of the flow field of falling water film down a vertical plate at high Reynolds number.
