摘要
高速小型可插拔式(SFP)光模块作为光通信系统的关键器件,一直是光通信领域研究的热点,其中保持消光比稳定是高速SFP光模块一项极为重要的性能。文章阐述了几种常见的通过温度补偿来改变调制电流,保持消光比稳定的方案,并介绍了各种方案的特点和基本原理。这些分析和研究对SFP光模块的设计有较高的参考价值。
Abstract
As one of the key devices of optical communication systems, the high-rate SFP optical module is always the research focus in the field of optical communication. Among others, to maintain a stable extinction ratio is a highly important performance of high-rate SFP optical modules. This paper describes several commonly used schemes, in which the extinction ratio is kept stable by adjusting the modulating current by temperature compensation and introduces their characteristics and basic principles. These analyses and studies are of high reference values for the design of SFP optical modules.
