光速调控中的信息速度问题研究

摘要
利用不同的技术手段实现光速的调控是最近几年的研究热点问题之一。伴随光速调控技术的深入研究,在慢光以及超光速情况下信息速度的问题也成为人们关注的重要方面。利用非解析点的方法研究了在红宝石晶体中慢光情况下,以及C60中超光速情况下信息的传递速度。研究结果表明,无论在慢光情况下还是超光速情况下,在实验测量的精度范围内信息的传播速度都小于真空中光速c。这说明观察到的超光速现象并不违反因果关系,虽然群速度超过真空中光速,但信息的传递速度不受群速度的影响。
Abstract
In recent years, researches about the controllable group velocity using differerent methods arouse great interest among researchers. With the development of controllable slow and fast light propagation, discussions about the information speed under abnormal light velocity have been reported. In this work, the information speed in ruby crystal and C60 solution under the slow and fast light conditons are discussed respectively. The results demonstrate that, in our experiment, the information speed is smaller than light speed in a vacuum, although the light group velocity may exceed the light speed in a vacuum. This result is in accordance with the causulty.
