光正交频分复用技术在光网络中的应用研究
Application research on O-OFDM for optical networks
摘要
光正交频分复用(O-OFDM)技术是目前正在研究的热点技术之一。O-OFDM技术应用在光网络中可以有效地提高系统抵抗色散及偏振模色散等效应的能力,从而改善网络的性能。文章阐述了O-OFDM技术的原理,介绍了将O-OFDM技术应用在光骨干传输网中及光接入网中的研究现状,并对该技术的发展趋势以及应用前景做出了展望。
Abstract
As one of the hotspot technologies in current study, Optical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (O-OFDM) is applied to enhance the optical network capability to counteract such effects as chromatic dispersion and polarization mode dispersion, thus improving their performances. This paper explains the principle of the technology, reviews its current applications in optical backbone transmission networks and optical access networks and forecasts the trend of its development and prospects of its applications.
