光栅折射率调制对光纤Bragg光栅特性的影响
Influence of refractive index modulation on fiber Bragg grating characteristics
摘要
文章基于耦合模理论,采用传输矩阵法数值分析了光栅折射率调制对光纤Bragg光栅(FBG)特性的影响。结果表明: 随着折射率调制深度的加深, 光栅的反射谱峰值波长发生蓝移, 峰顶变得平坦; 光栅时延的最小值发生在光栅的Bragg波长处; 峰值反射率增大, 峰值半宽(FWHM)呈线性变化
Abstract
On the basis of the coupled mode theory, this paper numerically analyzes the effects of refractive index modulation on Fibre Bragg Grating (FBG) characteristics by using the transfer matrix method. The results show that, with the deepening of the refractive index modulation, the peak wavelength of the reflection spectrum is blue-shifted and the peak top becomes flattened, the minimum value of the grating delay occurs at the Bragg wavelength, the peak refractive rate increases and the Full Width Half Maximum (FWHM) of the peak varies linearly.
