面向OPPM的TCM系统设计与仿真
Design and simulation of OPPM-oriented TCM system
摘要
文章作者设计并仿真了一种卷积码与8OPPM(重叠脉冲位置调制)相结合的TCM(网格编码调制)系统。该系统能够在不降低带宽利用率的前提下改善OPPM系统性能。计算机仿真结果表明: 该系统相对未编码的4PPM(脉冲位置调制)系统可以取得1~3 dB的编码增益。
Abstract
This article designs and simulates a kind of Trellis Coded Modulation (TCM) system, in which the convolutional code is combined with Overlapping Pulse-Position Modulation (8OPPM). This system can improve the OPPM system performance at no penalty in bandwidth utilization ratio. The simulation results indicate that the system can obtain 1~3 dB coding gain in comparison with the uncoded Pulse Position Modulation (4PPM).
