光热失调技术的实验研究
Experimental Study on the Photothermal Detuning Technique
摘要
光热失调技术是利用光学薄膜反射或透射光谱的温度效应研究薄膜吸收的一种新方法,是光热技术的一种。以BK7玻璃为衬底的高反射膜为样品,以连续激光为加热光源,实验研究了该方法反射和透射探测方式,以及加热光束入射角度对光热信号的影响,得出反射和透射光热信号相位相反,加热光束入射角对光热信号的影响较小,进一步验证了光热失调技术测量光学薄膜吸收的可行性,为该方法的应用提供实验依据。
Abstract
The photothermal detuning technique is a novel photothermal technique, utilizing the spectral shift of optical coatings caused by absorption-induced temperature rise to measure the absorption of the optical coatings. Experiments are conducted with a highly reflective coating deposited on BK7 glass substrate. The pump laser is a CW laser. The transmitted and reflected configurations are studied. The influence from the incident angle of the pump beam is analyzed. The results show that the transmitted signal and the reflected signal have opposite phases, while the incident angle of the pump beam has a little effect on the photothermal signal. It further verifies the feasibility of the photothermal detuning technique which used to measure the absorption of the optical coating, providing an experimental evidence for the application of the technique.
