摘要
对非对称的双面金属结构的放大区的色散损耗关系基于Drude模型和麦克斯韦方程进行数学推导,其后的PhotonDesign仿真证实了理论推导的正确性;并结合等效系数法首次将该推导过程应用于对基本脊型波导的色散及模的分析,为今后研究复杂脊型波导结构提供了理论依据。
Abstract
This report mainly focused on the dispersion relation among the wave vector and the effective refractive index and the mode simulations of the surface plasmon waveguide at the low terahertz frequency based on quantum cascade laser (QCLs) with the active region being 11 μm. Mathematical method was applied to analyze the dispersion relations and was visualized via PhotonDesign to verify the theoretical results. When dealing with the analysis of ridge structure, effective index method (EIM) was used to analyze the ridge structure, providing a theoretical results for further study on waveguide with complex ridge structure.
