一种新型双频带左手材料的设计

摘要
利用十字型金属线和改造的开口谐振环设计了一种新型左手材料,通过S参数反演法进行参数提取表明,这种结构的左手材料可以在千兆赫兹波段出现两个负折射频带。数值分析了结构参数对负折射率频带的影响,结果表明,该结构能否出现双频带的负折射特性与谐振环对的开口大小直接有关;相对于其他参数,谐振环的宽度和开口大小对负折射率频带产生影响较大。研究结果表明,通过选择合适的结构参数,该左手材料可以实现双频带的负折射特性。
Abstract
A novel left-handed metamaterial (LHM) is proposed, which composes of metal cross wires and reshaped split ring resonators. It is demonstrated that the proposed structure may present a gigahertz dualband with negative refraction index by the retrieved S-parameter method. Moreover, the influence of the main structural parameters on the negative dual bands is numerically investigated, and it′s found that the presence of dual bands for such a LHM is directly related to the gaps of the split ring resonators. Compared with the other size parameters, the widths and gaps of the split ring resonators have more influence on the negative dual bands. The obtained results suggest that the proposed LHM may realize the dual-band negative refraction by adjusting the appropriate structural parameters.
