Structural Design of Zig-Zag Laser Slab
摘要
利用几何光学的方法对固体激光器中Zig-Zag板条介质的结构设计进行了分析。具体分析了Zig-Zag板条端面切割角的选取方法。对于Nd:YAG增益介质,采用31°切割角的板条具有较高的效率,且便于加工和镀膜。以端面31°切割角的板条为例,分析了板条各几何尺寸的设计方法。Zig-Zag板条的宽度、厚度和长度等参数需充分考虑与半导体泵浦模块的匹配以得到最佳设计。
Abstract
The design method of Zig-Zag laser slab is introduced. The analysis is made by geometrical optics. The design of the end face angle of Zig-Zag laser slab is analyzed. For Nd:YAG, 31°is a good choice of the end face angle because of its convenience for processing and film coating. The geometric dimensioning design is analyzed by including 31°end face angle as an example. In the design of Zig-Zag laser slab, the matching of the dimensioning and the pumping source should be considered fully.
