光束质量评价及其在高功率板条激光器中的应用

摘要
针对高功率板条激光器输出激光的高阶空间频率分量较多、光斑形状为长条形等特点,指出衍射极限倍数β值或环围能量比γ值用于评价板条激光器输出激光光束质量时需注意的条件,以及光斑能量百分比和理想光斑形状等因素对光束质量测量结果的影响,并以千瓦板条激光器输出光束为例说明基于桶中功率(PIB)的β因子的计算方法,提出以包含时空特性的β因子是作为衡量高功率板条激光器光束质量的有效方法。
Abstract
The high power slab laser output beam is with high-order spatial distortion and the light spot is rectangle. Based on this, the conditions are presented for diffraction limited factor times β or energy circle rate used in evaluating beam quality. The effects from the factors such as spot energy percentage and ideal spot shape on the beam quality measurement are analyzed. Furthermore, kilowatt slab laser beam is taken as an example to introduce the calculation method of β factor based on power in the bucker (PIB). Finally, β factor containing spatio-temporal characteristics is proved to be an effective method to evaluate high power slab laser beam quality.
