八边形空芯微结构光纤的制备和特性分析

摘要
基于反共振反射光波导中的抑制耦合理论,本文设计和制备出一种单空气包层大纤芯的八边形空芯微结构光纤,光纤直径为170 μm,纤芯直径为44 μm,纤芯壁厚为1.2 μm。实验测试结果表明该光纤对于波长为750 nm的光具有良好的导光特性。该空芯光纤结构简单,容易制备,并可设计成大纤芯适用于光泵碱金属蒸气激光、液体填充传感、高功率近红外光能量传输及气体激光器等领域,为探索简易新型空芯微结构光纤打下前期实验基础。
Abstract
Based on inhibited coupling mechanism of anti-resonance reflecting optical waveguide,a kind of octagonal hollow core micro-structured fiber model with one-layer cladding based on FEM(Finite Element Method) was established and investigated. The out diameter of the fiber is about 170 μm, the core diameter is about 44 μm and the thickness of the core bridge is about 1.2 μm. Then this kind of fiber was fabricated by stack and draw method. By the transmission spectrum and loss spectrum, we found that there was a low loss transmission band existed at 750 nm. The experiment accords with simulation well. The octagonal hollow core micro-structured fiber can be used in optical pumped alkali vapor laser, liquid filling sensor and high energy transmission, gas laser and so on. It can help us understand the transmission mechanism of hollow core fiber well.
