助烧剂对Nd∶YAG激光陶瓷微观结构和透过率的影响

摘要
采用固相反应烧结法制备透明Nd∶YAG激光陶瓷。研究了助烧剂对Nd∶YAG 微观结构和透过率的影响。当助烧剂SiO2的添加量w(SiO2)=0.3%~0.8%时, 样品具有较好的微观结构, SiO2 添加量w(SiO2)=0.5%时, 波长1 064 nm处的透过率为68%。同时添加MgO与SiO2助烧剂时, 可进一步改善微观结构和增加透过率, MgO添加量w(MgO)=0.5%时, 波长1 064 nm处的透过率可达到75%。此外, 通过比较干压成型和等静压成型方式发现, 采用等静压成型方式可获得更好的微观结构和透过率。
Abstract
The solid-state reaction sintering method is used to preprare transparent Nd∶YAG laser ceramic. The influence of sintering aids on the microstructures and transmittance of Nd∶YAG are studied. When the weight percentage of SiO2 is between 0.3 and 0.8wt%, the sample has better microstructures, transmittance is up to 68% at 1 064 nm wavelength with 0.5wt% SiO2 added. If 0.5wt% MgO is simultaneously added, the transmittance at 1 064 nm wavelength is up to 75%.Additionally, compared with mechanical pressing, the Nd∶YAG ceramic has better microstructures and transmittance by using isostatic pressing.
