红外图像噪声建模及仿真研究
Modeling and Simulation Research of Infrared Image Noise
摘要
噪声是造成图像退化和视频质量下降的另一个重要原因, 仿真红外成像的噪声及其影响是建立图像退化模型的核心。红外成像噪声分析中的各种信号噪声, 最终反映在热像仪输出的红外图像上体现为多种多样的成像噪声。通过把热像仪成像过程可能出现的各种主要噪声信号映射到红外图像中的随机噪声和固定图案噪声, 建立了红外图像的噪声模型, 并从实际热成像系统输出视频图像中提取噪声特性参数作为热像噪声仿真系统的输入, 对红外成像系统的各种静态图像噪声的仿真实验效果接近实际的红外图像噪声情况, 为热像仪成像退化建模奠定基础。
Abstract
Noise is the cause of image degradation and video quality decrease, and the simulation of infrared image noise and its impact is the core of establishing image degradation model. Various noise signals in infrared imaging noise analysis, ultimately reflect in the output image of IR camera, become various imaging noises. In this paper, all kinds of primary noise signals in the IR camera imaging process are mapped to the random noise and fixed pattern noise in infrared image, the noise model of infrared image is established, and noise characteristic parameters are extracted from the output video of actual thermal imaging system as the input of infrared image noise simulation system. Simulation experiment result of static image noise in infrared imaging system is close to the actual infrared image noise. The paper has built up a foundation for modeling IR camera imaging degradation.
