云计算环境下的有源光缆耦合工艺优化
Optimization of AOC Coupling Processbased on Cloud Computing
摘要
AOC(有源光缆)耦合效率对云计算环境下的数据传输性能有着重要影响。文章针对云计算环境下AOC耦合效率低于75%展开研究, 通过COB(板上芯片)技术, 对目前AOC的生产工艺进行优化, 所得多模粘装精度为±5 μm, 光损耗<1 dB,耦合效率>90%。对该工艺下的VCSEL(垂直腔面发射激光器)位置进行了分析计算, 首次得到VCSEL到光纤阵列的最大距离为117.68 μm。结果表明, 所采用的COB技术与45°反射面光纤耦合工艺能够满足低成本高效率的生产要求, 提高了AOC的耦合效率, 为大数据、云计算的进一步研究提供了思路。
Abstract
The coupling efficiency of Active fiber Optical Cable (AOC) has an important effect on the performance of data transmission in the cloud computing environment. This paper carries out the study on the case when the coupling efficiency of the transmission medium AOC is lower than 75%. We first optimize the production process for current AOC by the COB technology. After the optimization process, the multimode sticky installation accuracy is within ± 5 μm, and the optical loss can be controlled within 1 dB, and the coupling efficiency can be ensured more than 90%. Then, we analyze and calculate the position of the VCSEL by the processes, obtaining the maximum distance from the fiber array to the VCSEL is 117.68 μm for the first time. The results show that the COB technology and the 45 degree reflective surface optical fiber coupling process can achieve the requirements of low cost and high efficiency with improved coupling efficiency of AOC. The result in this paper can provide a way for the further study on big data and cloud computing.
