宽调谐光纤激光器在温度传感中的应用

摘要
设计实现了一种编程波长扫描宽调谐掺铒光纤激光器,波长扫描调谐范围超 过51 nm (1516.83~1568.31 nm), 调谐步长最小可达0.01 nm,通过编程控制波长重复扫描调谐。 将该激光器应用于光纤光栅组成准分布式温度传感系统,初步实验实现了对16路共48个 点的实时温度监测。由于激光器输出功率较高,传感距离可以很长。激光器输出功 率20 dBm、探测器灵敏度-20 dBm时,该温度传感系统覆盖的传感范围远超过方圆50 km以上, 在智能电网传感系统中有重要的应用前景。
Abstract
A programmable wavelength widely tunable Er-doped fiber laser is demonstrated. The wavelength scanning tunable range can cover above 51 nm (from 1516.8 nm to 1568.3 nm) controlled by software and tunable step is up to 0.01 nm. Wavelength repetition scanning tuning can be controlled by programming. The laser is applied to the optical fiber grating to form a quasi-distributed temperature sensing system, which is applied in real-time temperature monitoring of 48 points in 16 channels. Because of the high output power, the detecting distance can be very long. When the output power is 20 dBm and the sensitive is -20 dBm, the detecting distance of the temperature sensor is more than 50 km. The temperature sensing system has important application in smart grid sensing system.
