铥、镱共掺可见光响应型纳米TiO2光催化剂的制备及性能表征

摘要
为了解决现有光催化剂对太阳光响应性能不佳且可见光响应型光催化剂制备条件苛刻等问题, 研制了以TiO2同时作为上转换材料基质和半导体光催化剂的光催化材料, 并对不同n(Yb3+)∶n(Tm3+)掺杂下的光催化材料的上转换发光性能进行了研究。首先, 设置一系列的n(Yb3+)∶n(Tm3+)比值, 采用溶胶-凝胶法制备相应光催化材料。然后, 对材料进行性能表征及降解实验, 以亚甲基蓝为目标污染物, 测试材料的实际催化降解效果。最后, 通过分析材料的发光性能及降解性能, 确定最优的n(Yb3+)∶n(Tm3+)比值。实验结果表明: 当n(Yb3+)∶n(Tm3+)=4时, 材料的发光性能最好, 上转换现象最明显, 可见光照射条件下的光催化降解效率最高, 目标污染物降解率可达72.87%。所制备材料集上转换材料及光催化剂为一体, 简化了制备程序, 提高了能量利用效率。研制出的TiO2∶1%Tm, 4%Yb光催化材料最为理想, 光谱响应范围向可见光区拓展, 降解效果良好, 能够实现对太阳光能量的高效利用。
Abstract
Facing on the problem that the existing photocatalysts’ sunlight response performance is poor, and the fact that the existing photocatalysts with visible light photoresponse are poorly functioned and tough to prepare, the upconversion luminescence materials with the exact matrix of TiO2 are prepared, and the photoluminescence capacity of materials doped with different ratio of n(Yb3+)∶n(Tm3+) is studied. Firstly, the materials doped with the designed range of n(Yb3+)∶n(Tm3+) ratio were prepared by the sol-gel method. Secondly, the performance of prepared photocatalysts was examined by UV-Vis, 3D-EEM and experiments of photocatalytic degradation. Lastly, based on the analysis of the data, an optimum ratio of n(Yb3+)∶n(Tm3+) was determined. The results show that the materials with n(Yb3+)∶n(Tm3+) ratio of 4 give the most obvious upconversion luminescence phenomenon and the best degradation effectiveness, with the target organic pollutant removed by 33.33% within 4 h, 49.99% degraded within 6 h and 72.87% degraded within 12 h. It is proved that allowing TiO2 to function as a photocatalyst as well as to assist in the photoluminescence procedure at the same time saves both complicated preparation procedures and over-wasted energy. In addition, the ideal photocatalyst TiO2∶1%Tm, 4%Yb achieves ultraviolet upconversion under visible light and thereby enhances the photocatalysts sunlight response ability.
