海水信道激光传输距离对接收功率的影响分析

摘要
海水信道的衰减特性影响着激光信号的传输距离以及接收光功率。文章根据海水的光学特性, 分析了激光在海水通信信道中的衰减特性, 利用蒙特卡洛方法模拟激光在海水信道中的传输过程, 得到了不同传输距离对接收光功率影响的仿真图。同时利用高斯函数对仿真结果进行了曲线拟合, 得到了一定海水杂质浓度时, 海水中激光传输距离及任意位置与接收功率之间的理论模型, 从而可快速得到一定传输距离下, 任意接收位置的接收光功率, 为将来水下激光通信接收系统的设计提供了理论依据。
Abstract
The attenuation characteristics of seawater channel affect the laser signal’s transmission distance and receive power. In this paper, according to the coastal ocean of optical characteristics, we analyze the attenuation characteristics of the laser in seawater communications’ channel, and use Monte Carlo method to investigate the transmission process of the laser in seawater channel. Then, we obtain the simulation figures describing the relationship between the transmission distance and received power. We also use Gaussian function to fit the simulation results. In this way, we obtain a theoretical model to describe the relationship between the laser transmission distance and receive power at any position when seawater is impurity concentration. Therefore, we can quickly calculate the receiver power at any locations under certain distances, which provides a theoretical basis for the future design of underwater laser communication system.
