摘要
为了满足用户对高分辨率、大屏幕、大色域图像的追求,设计了一种基于激光光源照明系统的超高清(UHD) DLP投影光学引擎,样机应用单片式4K TRP DMD芯片,采用红(638 nm)、绿(532 nm)、蓝(447 nm)三色激光器作为光源。介绍了DLP UHD照明光学系统的两种典型设计方案,采用复眼透镜阵列作为匀光方案来提高光能利用率和光源均匀度。还介绍了TI的TRP技术和XPR技术,对比了适合于TRP技术的TIR和RTIR棱镜的优缺点,给出了光学仿真,设计了双DDPP4422+FPGA的驱动系统, 实现了投射比为0.248的激光投影样机。样机色彩饱和度高,显示效果好。光学系统结构简单、集成化程度高、易于实现批量化生产。
Abstract
In order to satisfy the users pursuit of high resolution, large screen, large color gamut image, an ultra high definition (UHD) DLP optical engine based on laser light source in the illuminating system is proposed. The prototype employs single 4K UHD digital micromirror device(DMD) as the image chip, using 638 nm, 532 nm, 447 nm wavelength laser as the light source. Two typical designs of DLP UHD illumination optical system are introduced. Fly-lens illumination system has been employed to realize high light collection efficiency and the optical uniformity. The simulation result is also proposed. The paper also describes the TRP and XPR technology, TIR vs. RTIR comparisons for TRP, and optical simulation. Finally, the complete driving system is designed and a laser projection prototype with a throw ratio of 0.248 is achieved. The model machine has high color saturation and trenchant demonstration. The optical system has simple configuration and high integration, and it has nice practicality in industry manufacture.
