摘要
介绍了一种用于丝阵 Z箍缩(Z-pinch)内爆实验研究的脉冲放电模块的设计。模块基于直线型变压器驱动器 (LTD)技术, 包含 34个放电支路, 通过 4个铁基非晶磁芯耦合。每支路由 2个 40 nF电容器和 1只 4间隙串联气体开关组成, 回路电感为 220 nH。设计了水电阻负载检验模块输出性能, 在匹配状态下, 负载上的输出电流峰值 916 kA, 上升时间 99.8 ns。设计了磁绝缘传输线将输出脉冲传输至 Z-pinch丝阵负载, 并利用“零维模型”对 LTD模块和负载的耦合放电进行了模拟计算。结果显示, 丝阵负载上的放电电流峰值可达 960 kA, 上升时间为 114 ns。
Abstract
A design of a pulsed discharge cavity for Z-pinch wire-array implosion experiments on basis of the Linear Transformer Driver(LTD) technology is presented. The cavity is consisted of 34 bricks, which are coupled through 4 Matglas toroidal cores. Each brick has two 40 nF capacitors and a gas switch with 4 gaps in series, and the loop inductance is 220 nH. The cavity can generate a 916 kA, 99.8 ns pulse to the matched resistance making of water resistors. A magnetically insulated transmission line is designed to transmit the pulse from the LTD cavity to a wire array Z-pinch load. Simulation using the “zero dimension model” is conducted, showing that the pulsed current on the wire array is 960 kA at peak value and 114 ns at rising time.
