提高侧背光液晶显示器光效的方法研究
Research on Methods of Improving Luminous Efficiency for Edge Backlight LCDs
摘要
为满足轻薄化的需求, 越来越多的液晶显示器应用了侧背光的背光系统。通过仿真, 分析了导光板厚度以及进光面与LED背光间距对于显示器亮度的影响, 同时提出了导光板进光面点胶的方法以提高背光的光效。经过试验验证, 该方法能有效提高显示器的亮度。
Abstract
In order to meet the requirement of being lighter and thinner, more and more liquid crystal displays (LCD) use the edge-light as backlight systems. Through simulation, the influence of the thickness of light guide plate(LGP) and LGP-to-LED distance on display brightness was analyzed, and a method was proposed to improve luminous efficiency by dispensing on in-light surface of LGP. The experiment shows that this method can effectively enhance the display brightness.
