室内可见光通信MIMO信道相关性研究

摘要
多输入多输出(MIMO)技术是室内可见光通信发展的一个重要方向, 信道相关性是影响其性能的一个重要因素。为此, 研究了影响MIMO信道相关性的主要因素。首先, 根据朗伯辐射模型, 从理论上建立了MIMO信道模型并推导了MIMO信道相关性与空间距离参数的关系; 在此基础上, 建立了实验验证平台, 通过实验验证了理论结果。理论及实验结果都表明: MIMO信道相关性随着发光二极管(LED)距离的增大而增大; 随着光电探测器(PD)距离的增大而增大; 随着LED平面与PD平面距离的减小而减小。研究结果对于室内可见光MIMO通信中LED及PD的布局有重要的指导意义。
Abstract
MIMO is a promising technique in visible light communication, and channel correlation is considered as an important factor affecting its performance. As a result, factors affecting MIMO channel correlation were studied in this paper. Firstly, according to the model of Lambertian emission, MIMO channel model was constructed in theory and then the relationship between MIMO channel correlation and parameters of space distance was deduced. Furthermore, experimental demonstration was set up and the theoretical results were confirmed by experiments. The theoretical and experimental results both show that MIMO channel correlation was decreased with the increasing of LED spacing, PD spacing and the decreasing of the distance between LED and PD plane. The results can be an important guidance for layout of LEDs and PDs.
