摘要
可调突发激光器是下一代光接入网中的关键器件,文章对一种基于电吸收调制激光器和半导体光放大器的波长可调谐的突发激光器进行光路设计,使用常用的光学元件,通过ZEMAX软件进行光路仿真并对光路进行优化设计,从而得出光学系统的耦合效率。整个光路由电吸收调制激光器、半导体光放大器、隔离器和各类透镜组成,通过仿真结果得出激光器出射功率,结合实验结果及系统要求,验证了该设计能够满足器件要求。
Abstract
In the next generation optical access network, tunable burst laser is one of the key devices. This paper designs the light path for a tunable burst laser based on electric absorption modulated laser and semiconductor optical amplifier. Common optical components are selected by simulation in ZEMAX to improve the light path and the coupling efficiency. The light path consists of electric absorption modulated laser, semiconductor optical amplifier, optical isolator and lens. The minimum launch power that can be calculated by the simulation. The test results show that this design can meet the requirements of the transmitter in the next generation optical access network.
