光子晶体光纤陀螺热相位噪声研究
Investigation on Thermal Phase Noise in Photonic Crystal Fiber Optic Gyroscopes
摘要
光子晶体光纤陀螺使用光子晶体光纤替代普通光纤绕制光纤环, 是光纤陀螺的发展方向。光纤种类不同, 其热相位噪声特性与传统陀螺存在差异。对光子晶体光纤陀螺光纤热相位噪声展开研究, 利用有限元方法建立光纤模型及噪声模型, 并搭建光源强度噪声抑制光路对热相位噪声进行测量, 通过实验结果与仿真的对比, 验证了模型的正确性。
Abstract
Using photonic crystal fiber (PBG) to replace the ordinary fiberwinding ring is the development direction of fiber optic gyroscope. Due to different types of optical fibers, the characteristics of thermal phase noise are different from those of conventional gyroscopes. In this paper, the thermal phase noise of photonic crystal fiber optic gyroscope was studied, and the fiber model and noise model were established by using finite element method. The thermal phase noise was measured by the light source intensity noise suppression circuit. The correctness of the model is verified by the comparison between the experimental and the simulation results.
