TFT-LCD黑Gap分析及改善研究

摘要
黑Gap是大尺寸TFT-LCD产品常见的一种不良,它直接影响产品品质,降低产品竞争力。本文分析了黑Gap的发生原因及机理,指出面板放在卡夹中受到与卡夹接触点较强外力挤压后发生形变,柱状隔垫物受损,不能及时恢复导致黑Gap的发生。实验表明管控面板在卡夹中的存放时间,限制面板进行加热或降低加热温度,减少加热时间; 增加面板与卡夹接触面积,减小面板与卡夹的接触角; 增加柱状隔垫物与面板接触密度及辅助柱状隔垫物顶面柱径大小均可有效改善黑Gap。通过导入以上措施,使得黑Gap发生率由改善前的8.58%降低至0.1%,大大提高了产品品质。
Abstract
Black Gap is a common defect in the production of large size TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display). It directly deteriorates the quality of products and reduces the competition of products. The study shows that panel is extruded deformation by long time external force in cassette and the post spacer in cell is damaged and can’t restore in time to result in black gap. To solve this issue, we can control the time of the panel in the cassette, confine oven process or reduce temperature and time properly, increase the contact area and decrease the contact angle between the cassette and panel, increase the contact density between post spacer and panel, and increase sub post spacer top CD respectively. All those actions decrease the black gap ratio from 8.58% to 0.1%, the quality of products has been greatly improved.
