普通LCD显示器色域边界的准确计算
Accurate Calculation of Color Gamut Boundary of Normal LCD Display Screen
摘要
目前针对普通LCD显示器色域边界计算的研究较少, 本文耦合迭代求解法和反向特征化计算方法提出一种准确快速计算普通LCD显示屏色域边界点的方法。其中的反向特征化计算方法是:利用GOG模型初步计算已知颜色点的近似输入值, 然后利用正向特征化模型、原色的主刺激值与设备输入值的函数关系, 采用逐步逼近法计算颜色点对应的输入值RGB。计算步骤为:首先确定迭代计算初始值, 迭代计算任意色相面上任意仰角上的颜色的XYZ; 然后计算XYZ值对应的输入值RGB; 最后, 以RGB来判断颜色点是否在色域边界上。实验结果表明, 与SMGBD相比, 本算法无需插值计算, 需要的样本少, 其计算结果比SMGBD更能满足实际需求。
Abstract
There is less study for ordinary LCD display color gamut boundary calculation. In order to accurately and quickly acquire the gamut boundary of an ordinary LCD display screen, a novel calculation method which coupled iterative method and the inverse calculation model was proposed. The reverse characteristic calculation method is: first, the approximation input values of the known XYZ were calculated using GOG model, and then the input value RGB of known XYZ was calculated by successive approximation method, a positive characteristic model and the function between the main stimulus and primary input value were adopted during the process of successive approximation calculation. The calculation steps are: the initial value of iterative calculation is appointed firstly, then XYZ of color point which belongs to any elevation angle on any hue surface is calculated by iterative computation. Then the device value RGB of the XYZ is calculated. Lastly, whether the color point located on the color gamut boundary is based on the values of RGB. Experimental results show that the new algorithm requires fewer samples and less computation time, and its calculation results can better meet the actual requirements than SMGBD. The results indicate that this method can well calculate color gamut boundary of ordinary LCD screen.
