溶胶-凝胶光学微盘制作及微腔回廊耳语模式研究
Whispering Gallery Modes from Micro-Disks Fabricated by Sol-Gel Technique
摘要
采用光聚合溶胶凝胶材料,通过光刻制备得到直径在15 μm~20 μm间的光学微盘谐振腔,在掺有若丹明B染料时,用脉冲532 nm激光抽运微盘,观察到回廊耳语模式,实验所得峰位与理论值相符.实验所得到微盘谐振腔最大Q值为900.实验表明,基于溶胶凝胶材料的光刻方法是一种用于制备低阈值微盘激光器的可行方法.
Abstract
The whispering gallery modes (WGM) from Rhodamine B doped sol gel microdisks under 532 nm pulsed laser pumping was studied. Microdisks of 15 μm~20 μm in diameter were fabricated by photolithography of light polymeriable sol gel thin films. The WGM peak positions matched well with the value of theoretical calculations. WGM with Q values as high as 900 were observed. The results showed that photolithography on sol gel film is a potential way to fabricate low threshold microdisk laser.
