提高图像亮度的多基色子像素着色算法
A Multi-primary Sub-pixel Rendering Algorithm Improving Image Brightness
摘要
介绍了两种多基色的子像素着色算法, 两种算法分别加入了白色子像素和黄色子像素, 将原图像的RGB数据转换得到新的RGBW数据和RGBYW数据, 然后对转换得到的RGBW和RGBYW子像素数据进行着色。该着色算法既保证了图像与传统RGB传统排列图像有一样的分辨率, 又显著提高了图像的亮度。仿真结果表明, 提出的多基色子像素着色算法既可以保持原图像的清晰度和饱和度, 又能显著提高图像亮度。
Abstract
Two sub-pixel rendering algorithms were introduced, which added white sub-pixel and yellow sub-pixel respectively. They transferred image’s RGB data into new RGBW data and RGBYW data,and then did the rendering for the RGBW data and RGBYW data. They kept the same resolution as traditional RGB arrangement, and improved the image brightness. Simulation results show that, the proposed multi-primary sub-pixel rendering algorithm can keep the clarity and saturation of original image, and can significantly improve image brightness as well.
