基于弱测量技术的Sagnac光路超短时间延迟测量研究
Ultra-small Time Delay Measurement in Sagnac Optical Path Using Weak Measurement
摘要
本文通过理论分析和实验展现了如何利用弱值测量技术在Sagnac环路中进行超微小时延差测量。我们在Sagnac光路中插入两块半波片来模拟一个薄双折射晶体在两路光之间引起的时间延迟效应。按照弱测量理论的思想,通过对光的偏振进行合理的前后选择,我们成功地从光中心波长的位移计算出顺时针/逆时针传播光之间的时延差,与理论预期吻合。我们提出的方案为测量Sagnac光路中的各类时延效应提供了新思路。
Abstract
On a theoretical analysis and a relevant experiment,we realized how a weak measurement can be used to measure the ultra-small time delay on Sagnacoptical path.We insert two half-wave plates into Sagnac path to simulate a thin birefringent crystal,which can bring in a small time delay in two opposite paths.By using reasonable pre-and post-selection state,we can get the time delay on the clockwise and counterclockwise paths from spectrum center wave length,which agrees with the theoretical data well.Our work provides a new idea for measuring varied kinds of time delay on the Sagnac path.
