双级双泵浦掺铒光纤C+L波段ASE光源的实验研究

摘要
本文通过对常见的双级双程双泵浦光源进行实验研究, 分析了两级掺铒光纤的长度以及两级泵浦的功率对光源输出光谱的功率大小、平坦度和平均波长的影响。根据实验分析结果, 当EDF1和EDF2的长度分别为9 m和38 m, 一级泵浦功率为65 mW, 二级泵浦功率为115 mW时, 光源输出功率为16.89 mW, 平均波长为1 566.389 nm, 1 536 nm-1 605 nm波段范围内光谱的不平坦度<±2 dB。
Abstract
By the experiment of the super-fluorescent fiber source (SFS) using the two-stage erbium fiber and two pump LDs of 980 nm ,we analyze what is the effect on the spectra when change the length of two-stage erbium-doped fiber or two pump power.The results indicate that the super-fluorescent fiber source of high- flatness and high-power can be designed. If two-stage erbium-doped fiber length are 9 m and 38m and the forward and backward pump power are 65 mW and 115 mW ,the flatness of the spectra from 1 536 nm to 1 605 nm is less than ±2 dB,and the power of the soure is 16.89 mW.
