脉冲编码提高瑞利BOTDA系统动态范围
Improving Dynamic Range of Pulse Coding Rayleigh BOTDA System
摘要
理论分析了瑞利BOTDA(布里渊光时域分析)传感系统的动态范围, 提出了一种采用脉冲编码技术改善系统信噪比从而增大系统动态范围的方法。研究了瑞利BOTDA系统中格雷码和Simplex码的编码和解码原理, 通过对瑞利BOTDA系统采用叠加平均法和脉冲编码法后信噪比改善量的分析对比, 阐明了脉冲编码技术在增大瑞利BOTDA系统动态范围方面的优越性, 并利用Matlab软件进行了仿真验证。仿真结果表明, 该编码技术能够明显改善系统信噪比, 增大系统的动态范围。
Abstract
The dynamic range of Rayleigh Brillouin Optical Time Domain Analysis(BOTDA) system is analyzed theoretically.A method using pulse coding is proposed to improve the signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range of the system. The encoding and decoding principle of Simplex code and Golay code in Rayleigh BOTDA systemis introduced. Based on the analysis and comparison of signal-to-noise ratio improvement quantity using the method of superimposed averaging and pulse coding in Rayleigh BOTDA system, it is found that the pulse coding technology has more advantages in increasing dynamic range of the Rayleigh BOTDA system. The performance comparison is verified by using Matlab simulation. The simulation results show that the coding technology can significantly improve the signal-to-noise ratio as well as the dynamic range.
