超高压直流输电系统中的特种光纤性能分析

摘要
针对超高压直流输电系统对光纤的特殊要求,研究了适用于超(特)高压直流输电测量和控制系统的几种特种光纤的主要性能指标。对光纤的芯层/包层直径、衰减值和最小弯曲半径等光学特性和阻燃等材料特性进行了研究,为寻找适用于超(特)高压直流输电测量和控制系统中不同应用环境且性价比较优的特种光纤提供了参考。通过实验分析得知,光纤的芯径越小,光纤在850 nm的衰减值越小。因而在超(特)高压直流输电测量和控制系统应用中,当数据传输量较大、对传输信号带宽有一定要求时,倾向于选择小芯径(约62.5 μm)的光纤;而对功率传输有要求时,则倾向于选择大芯径(约200 μm)的光纤。
Abstract
Given that the special requirements for optical fiber in ultra-high High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems,the performance analysis of several special kinds of optical fibers for HVDC transmission measurements and control system is carried out. The optical properties such as the core layer / cladding diameter of the optical fiber, refractive index distribution and the characteristics of flame retardant are studied, providing references for choosing specialty optical fibers with preferable cost performance for the ultra-high HVDC transmission measurements and control system in different application environment. The results indicate that the smaller the core diameter of the fiber, the smaller the attenuation value of the fiber at 850 nm. For the applications in ultra-high HVDC transmission and control system, small-diameter fiber (approximately 62.5 μm) tends to be used in the field that the amount of data transmission and are large, and the transmission signal bandwidth is specifically required; large-diameter (approximately 200 μm) fiber tends to be used in the field that the power transmission is specifically required.
