基于级联DE-MZM的大范围可重构超宽带的产生
Reconfigurable UWB Signal Generation in Large Scale based on Cascaded DE-MZM
摘要
基于级联的双驱动马赫-曾德尔调制器,提出了一种大范围可重构的超宽带信号产生方案。理论分析和仿真结果表明,通过调节输入到双驱动马赫-曾德尔调制器两个射频端口的信号的相对时延以及调制器的偏置电压,可实现一阶到五阶超宽带脉冲的任意产生;同时,调节双驱动马赫-曾德尔调制器两臂信号的相对时延还可实现超宽带脉冲的极性可调。
Abstract
We propose a reconfigurable Ultra-Wideband (UWB) pulse in large scale based on cascaded Dual-Electrode Mach-Zehnder Modulators (DE-MZM). In the simulation, by adjusting the relative delay between the two RF inputs of DE-MZMs and the bias voltages, the first to fifth order UWB pulses can be generated. Furthermore, the polarity of UWB pulse can be changed by controlling the relative delay between the electrical inputs of DE-MZM.
