硅基相移啁啾切趾光栅的光谱特性分析
Analysis of the Spectral Characteristics of Silicon Phase-Shifted Chirp Apodization Grating
摘要
硅基相移光栅具有良好的波长选择性。文章通过相移光栅的耦合方程,利用Matlab软件进行仿真,分别讨论了不同相移大小和光栅长度对相移光栅的反射谱的影响; 通过引入啁啾和切趾技术达到了拓宽带宽、抑制旁瓣和时延的目的。设计仿真出了一种带宽为0.18 nm、时延为-3 795 ps/nm的硅基相移啁啾切趾光栅,为波长可控的耦合器、波长滤波器等的设计提供了理论依据。
Abstract
Silicon phase-shifted grating has good wavelength selectivity. Through the coupling equations of phase-shifted grating, the impact of different phase-shift values and grating lengths on the reflectivity of phase-shifted grating has been discussed. By introducing chirp and apodization method, the purpose of broadening the bandwidth, suppressing the side-lobe and the time-delay can be achieved. We design and simulate a silicon phase-shifted chirp apodization grating with 0.18 nm bandwidth and -3 795 ps/nm time delay, which provide the theory foundation for wavelength-controllable coupler and wavelength filter.
