摘要
基于亚波长光栅的泄漏模共振效应和等效介质理论,利用Comsol Multiphysics软件设计分析了针对1 550 nm工作波长的一维悬浮亚波长氮化镓光栅偏振分束器。通过改变光栅的宽度、高度以及周期来确定最终的参数。仿真结果显示,在正入射条件下,该偏振分束器在C波段(1 530~1 565 nm)对TE模具有很高的反射率,同时对TM模具有很高的透射率,消光比达到20 dB以上,TM模透射率高于98%。
Abstract
Based on the leaky mode resonance effect and equivalent medium theory of the sub-wavelength grating, a one-dimensional suspension sub-wavelength grating is designed and analyzed by the Comsol Multiphysics software in 1 550 nm wavelength. The final parameters are determined by changing the width, height and period of the grating. The simulation results show that the polarization beam splitter has high reflectivity for the TE mode and high transmittance for TM mode in C band (1 530~1 565 nm) under the condition of normal incidence. The extinction ratios of the splitter are over 20 dB and the transmissivity of the TM mode is higher than 98%.
