单向纳米天线高效激发条状表面等离子体波导

摘要
提出了一种结构简单并且利用非对称纳米天线激发条状表面等离子体波导模式的微结构。通过纳米天线的非对称性产生的单向激发效应来实现条状表面等离子体波导模式的高效激发,利用数值模拟软件COMSOL对该结构进行了数值模拟仿真。模拟结果显示,所设计的结构可以高效地将入射远场光转化为条状表面等离子体波导模式,并且激发效率可以达到13.35%。
Abstract
A simple nanostructure of an efficiently excited stripe plasmonic waveguides by an unidirectional nano-antenna was presented.The efficient excitation of the stripe plasmonic waveguide mode is achieved by the unidirectional excitation produced by the asymmetry of the nano-antenna.The details of the wave propagations are numerically simulated by the COMSOL software.The results show that by efficiently transforming the incident far field light into the stripe plasmonic waveguide mode,the excitation efficiency of the stripe mode can be as high as 13.35%.
