基于FBG的化学浓度传感器的特性分析

摘要
文章基于光纤耦合模理论和倏逝场理论建立了光纤布拉格光栅三层结构模型,并通过推理计算和实验研究验证了三层结构的光波导模型,得出布拉格波长对化学溶液的折射率敏感性特征。同时,根据溶液浓度与其折射率关系理论建立了浓度与其折射率之间的近似线性关系式,并分析得出蔗糖、乙醇和Nacl三种溶液浓度与布拉格波长的关系,最后通过仿真实验得到不同溶液对应的布拉格波长随外部浓度变化的情况,获得一种结构简单、体积小、稳定性好、灵敏度高且无需敏感元件的化学浓度传感器。
Abstract
Based on the coupled-mode theory and the evanescent field theory, three-layer structure model of the Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) is proposed and verified through experimental study and reasoning calculation. The sensitivity characteristic of the Bragg wavelength to the refractive index of chemical solution is then obtained. The approximate linear relation between concentration and refractive index is established based on relation theory of concentration and refractive index. The relationships between the concentration and Bragg wavelength of sucrose, ethanol, and Nacl are obtained through analysis. Finally the changes of the Bragg wavelength with the external concentration are obtained by simulations. A chemical concentration sensor is realized with the characteristics of simple structure, small size, good stability, high sensitivity, and free of sensitive components.
